Tuesday

crash

Monday afternoon. Glenferrie Road. Stupidly slow traffic, makes me wonder why I ever drive through Kooyong in the afternoon. I'm on my way to pick up Kym from work.
Traffic stops, the car ahead of me stops, I stop. The car behind me decides not to stop. Grandaddy skipps, I go bang on the headrest, bang into the Commodore ahead.
Bugger. My lovely Eunice the red Pulsar is the meat in a Holden sandwich. Barina, Pulsar, Commodore.
A full spectrum of the world. A 3rd Party insured P-Plater, a plucky young chap with comprehensive insurance, and boyish good looks, and a middle-class South Australian mother of 3, with a rental car.
Now my boot is bent, and my front is bent also.

There is another happy crash story for you here.

Friday

flaming disgrace!

this is alarming, lovers of pop music beware.

i happened to pop in to that jb hifi place in dandenong yesterday, and decided to check out the bargain bins, and, to my utter amazement, it was laden with one of the greatest pop albums ever recorded! That's right, The Soft Bulletin, by The Flaming Lips was sitting there with a slutty 'Buy Me, I'm Cheap!' pink sticker on it, and a price tag of only $7.99!!!!!
I am considering writing them a letter. It's a freaking disgrace, Race for the Prize is worth that much itself!.
Incidently, if you don't own it already, you should go get it now, but you should also insist to the shopkeep that you pay what it is really worth.

Thursday

korangar does it again!

more template-changing fun form our old friend korangar, but now with no spunky pics at all.... wah!
ah well, at least he got rid of that annoying toshiro link
