christmas

yes. christmas. what a lovely time. i enjoyed it. i saw lots of people.
i gave gifts. i gave my wife a voucher for a pair of shoes, and then i bought her a pair of shoes (different colour though)
i gave my brother a huge pot full of different succulents, which he loves. we gave my neice+nephew hand-made christmas decorations, felt sewn and stuffed in the shape of the first letter of their name. decorated with beads and sequins. they liked them.
my wife bought me a guitar. an expensive guitar. she is in trouble. it has a built in tuner. it sounds lovely. i owe her forever bigness.
christmas was good all over. and will be better still when we finally get to catch up with all our people.... which will hopefully be soon.

on laziness

recently, a reader hid themselves behind the (rather ineffective) guise of 'Anonymous' and threw lazy sticks at me. Between you and me, I was deeply hurt and quite distressed by it, but my official response is: 'phlarg'
Make of that what you will.
