Thursday

beautiful things

on triple r this morning, during the breakfasters.
i heard a live recording of the song 'golden' by my morning jacket.
it was lovely. amazing performance, amazing beauty, amazing sound, and one of the better misunderstood lyrics of my time:
"but nothing could ever chill, like the way they made the Dodgers disappear"

sometimes i love sunny mornings....

Wednesday

fever fever everywhere

so, as you know, the pretty half of my life was severley knocked about with a rampant fever on sunday night, almost like a preview of john safran on monday night.... hmm....

and now i am feeling like similar sized lumps of poop. i was suffering yesterday, with bloated sinus and raking throat. but now, i am about the explode from the forehead area. my colleague was telling me a story of a man who had chronic headpains, and the doctors drilled a small hole in the middle of his head, just above his nose, and pushed air up his nostrils, which forced a huge sausage of puss out of the hole.....

hmm..........

mostly done

that's it, we're mostly done.
with thanks to a great many people, including parents (for hands and fine vehicles). we had a great day on saturday, in the sun, with toshiro+crumpet+joffa. got the backyard done, dranks a beer and coffee. crumpet blitzed on the mowing maching, toshiro use his elongation skills to clean the bathroom walls and ceiling (should have asked him to put the fan cover back on......)

there was more internal cleaning on the sunday, whilst the lovely wife was making a new chicken run and contracting a daedly virus in the suburbs.

all that is ahead is the pieces of our future home, which will be carted away to the countryside next week by loving parents.

thanks for all the support and letters........

Thursday

fun and games

play the john howard game

but, what? there's only 26 lies?

illusions

don't you like the way i pretend that people actually read this...
also, don't you like the way mr howard has an 'environmental policy' that is to be guided by a bunch of loggers and a pro-logging state government...

bah!

the amazing mister lifto

i am a beefcake, honestly.
i have borrowed dad's truck, which has a tray about 4 foot high, and he's put on huge wheels to make it even higher. so anyways, whilst my brother in law was avoiding our calls and not helping me at all, i hauled both armchairs from our deco club lounge out of the house and up onto that tray. then i took our 7foot bookcase, and manouvered that out the door and up also. and a floppy futon, and we all know how difficult they are to handle. i rock (in a lifty fashion).

but don't fret, my little helpers to be, we still have table and cabinets and fridges and washers for you to test your strength against.

shall be moving plants on sunday if yr feeling big in the shoulder region. call us.

Saturday

pretty

yes, it is very pretty

exodus

and so it begins....

we're on our way out of the city, and into the suburbs. it's a fairly frightening move in some aspects, but i tend to find fear in most things, so hey. the motivation behind it is mostly ca$h. get some extra saving done, so we can get to work on our dream.. the straw, the house, the garden, the life.

we'lll still be around, so no panicking......

we'll be playing at the tote tomorrow evening also... (not that anyone will read this post today)

see you soon...
